Ginkgo is a first person, 3D atmospheric horror game where you solve puzzles and escape monsters with your magic needle. It is a PC game created in Unreal Engine 4.

(July 2019 - May 2020)


I was the Game Director for Ginkgo, a senior capstone project at USC. I led and recruited a multidisciplinary team of 23, directed the vision and implementation of the game, and communicated with all the different departments of the development team. 

As both a designer and engineer, I created documentation for the game, greyboxed and iterated levels, as well as scripted design tools, systems, and narrative sequences. I also modeled and textured creature and environment art assets.


Ginkgo won third place for Best Gameplay at the Intel University Games Showcase 2020!
